fill out our fears

skies loom strewed
with vacant signs
to feed the void
of eyes so vain

the passive ardor
adorning glass
peers through our window
in blighted light

a hand lay cold
on shoulder spurned
fixed in the moment
without flinching

when dusk came sweeping
the people waned
a brief importance
then saw me home

cyclical perpetuity prying
clawing at the prefrontal cortex

altruistic assertions abundantly articulated
aimlessly amid atmospheres of apathetic arrogance

the pittance of positive people
professing palpable parable
is repeatedly passed over
spurned, and disparaged
for the perverted purpose of pandering
to the plight of pathetically puerile opponents
to placate their pathological penchant
for proliferated pandemonium

the spirit of selflessness
and subsequent sanctuary is subjugated
by solipsistic sentiments
that seem to spread
like pestilence plaguing the soporific populace

seeking to appease
the silent sect of surrogate shamers
tiptoeing through the treacherous tumult
presaging tales of omnipresent fear
with foreboding and pale trepidation

all too typically trivialized
by tiresome talk of intolerant tripe
tailored to tantalize stolid thinkers

in triumphant tantrums of truant intellect
inflecting in facetious affectation
fostering false intent so toilsome

tempting my intrinsic inclination
to defect and deactivate
with the hope of abating this state of inundated hatred
bred into my head by the hordes

of men faceless whose faith
one can only surmise to be heedless

so, needless to say my dismay
is with relevant reason
enough to release this lost soul
into sempiternal egress

evincible glints grace glamorous mincing
thunderous echoes exuding lengthwise
exalted demise, dem legs, mine eyes

such spectacle sprawling
splendiferous in spades
defined restriction depicted
did clothe in denim

invoking a madness incurable

lest ye deftly caress with impetuous duress

did shape in dulled shackles of ashes erstwhile

stricken with awe
unguarded guffawing

straddling triumphant

The Relevance of Circumstance

every word we voice or stay bears power infinite
obsessive, nuanced, veiled displays composed of artifice
presuming the right to quantify experience not known
imposing our opinion from a self-appointed throne

but every person’s truth is as intrinsic to their being
as is the inability to know what things they see
the only safe thing to assume accepts things left unknown
the circumstances relevant to that which might be shown

for once we take the time to understand each other’s plight
we start to see through empathy as things soon come to light
it isn’t necessary to condone actions not sound
instead, we must apprise ourselves of circumstances found

for then we can prevent futures perpetuating fates
by taking every measure to preempt what lies in wait
with assiduity, it is imperative we mind
in situations disinclined to ethically align

with our experience, cast ye not any man aside
lest we freely foster fates exacted by design
with great implore i urge thee not forsake things which repel
the very senses needed should we ever hope to quell

the bane afflicting humankind, as one society
to take the time to find the signs revealed by history
we must stay vigilant to heed of what we doth consist
for any conscious mind with heart not born of narcissus

considers every truth and seeks out knowledge lesser known
by poring through the pages, gauge things covers can’t alone
impress in breadth imparting challenges one has since met
are only by the grace of random cosmic occurrence

and through this understanding the perspective ye doth hold
should now include a reverence for deference since bestowed
with thanks be given to thy lucky stars thou should exist
to rise above thine ashes with the rationale to persist

her tempestuous waters writhing
beneath skies which she granted her garden of hues
in fading horizons
define earth from heaven
concealed amid coppice
hedge sodden shores strewn
spring forth strands of stardust
felled fast on her shoulder
as desert winds balmy lift spiralling plumes
on journeys unspoken
unknown to mere men
in glacial abandon on axis exiled
and tropical canopies bursting with breath
encompassing spectrums
infinity’s view
she trembles in trenches
untouched by the sun
to shift the foundation
with fury fomenting
ascending to heights
said to humble the beholden
unfurling as scrolls inscribed with tales tragic

So futile are all motions clamoring banishment

Symphonies reign as crescendos cry skyward

Her name doth ascend where height fears no silence

So lucid the path has lain forthright and linear

Transpicuous impetus lifts sunken tread

Should words not express bemused skies revolve timeless

Such sorrowful drops would cut vales through the brow

When sudden a shattering wretched shriek stricken

Streams forth a faint filament brimming abound

And ardent illusions felled softly in flicker

she sits beside tides of diremption
surrendered to none, bride of shrewd

what kings relinquish, wish fortuitous birth
when walls built to crumble creation
fall silt in penumbral nuance
her sendal strands flicker abeyance
portraying what laymen e’er grasping could not
and days press like parchment to florae
indelible eras bygone
in swells of a weltering fallout
dispelling adduction, such freedom knew aught

a symbol of infinite bounding enclosed
as simple and intricate sounds when composed
in beams of sooth glistening undular form
where dreams aloof mistle tinged grossular storms

substructing holism leaves not gestalt reared
for euphonic escalade rendered so mute
